AK Marine Job is a premier Maritime Training Institute offering GP Rating, Pre-Sea Training (Deck & Engine Ratings), and Seaman Technician courses. Our Courses
General Purpose Rating – GP Rating
- GP Rating is a 6 months residential course approved by DG Shipping (Government of India).
- Candidates for the GP rating are those who have been trained in both deck and engine room work.
- After successfully completing the pre-sea training course, the cadet joins as Deck Crew or Engine Crew for a period of at least 18 months.
- Qualified candidates can aim to become a Master Mariner on board after completing the required sea time and passing various examinations.
